 It's the largest (and most fun!) weekly cross country race series in the country! 2010 marks the fifteenth season of Nordic Meisters! For eight weeks, skiers of all abilities challenge themselves on a 5km course with prizes awarded in age categories and through a raffle. With an adjustment system, all ages can compete on a level playing field. The series runs every Tuesday (except February 16) for eight weeks starting January 5 through March 2. Participants race against the clock on our 5km Nordic Meister course in the Skate and/or Classic category. The series consists of eight weeks of timed runs with the six best times selected for series-end standings. The timing building is open between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:45 pm. All participants must check in with the starters prior to starting timed runs and all runs must be completed by 4:00 pm. Results are posted on the website and published in the Conway Daily Sun each week. An awards party will be held on March 13 at the end of the series with the top three skiers in each class awarded trophies, while all participants completing six out of eight weeks are entered into a prize raffle.
