3/25 Update: We have extended registration to Thursday 3/26 at 5pm for certain events this weekend (the relays and mass start). Registration for the sprint still closes Wednesday night 3/25 at 8pm. 

The Outdoor Center is excited to again welcome the fastest skiers in North America to the Northeast Kingdom to wrap up the 2025/2026 race season. With three national championships on the line in the classic sprint (Friday), club relay (Saturday), and freestyle mass start (Sunday), the racing is sure to be exciting. Whether you want to compete or just watch the power and grace as some of the world’s best athletes tackle the challenging race trails at the Center, we hope you will join us in March.

Friday, March 27 - 1.5km classic sprint (now with junior semifinals and finals for juniors who do not make the open rounds!)

Saturday, March 28 - 4 x 5km NE club relay championships and US Ski and Snowboard mixed gender club national championship relay

Sunday, March 29 - 40km freestyle mass start (Note updated start times!)

Rules and requirements:

All U.S.-based athletes in National Championship events (sprint, senior mass starts, official club relay) must have valid US Ski and Snowboard licenses. 

Communication:

We will be using the email function via SkiReg to send updates. We will also post updates to our WhatsApp group, which we urge all coaches and athletes to join.

Waxing:

Reservations for the Center's 4 private wax cabins will go on sale on SkiReg on February 4th at 7:00pm EST. Any team securing one of the four spots is committing to renting a cabin for a minimum of four days at $100/day. Any additional days will be charged at $100/day. The Center's front office staff will contact the teams in order to finalize reservations.

Any team looking for a private waxing space that missed out on a wax cabin rental can reserve a 20' mobile office container for $1,000/week, beginning Monday, March 23rd. All reservations must be submitted to [email protected] by February 20th, 2026. 

Furthermore, teams bringing a trailer must register and pay the $150 parking and power fee online. Teams failing to register via SkiReg for a wax trailer or truck will not be permitted to park.
