Saturday, Feb 28th, Snowshoe Mountain, partnering with Darn Tough calls all snowboard contenders to come compete for the title of WV Banked Slalom Legend as we host the Darn Tough Banked Slalom Snowboard Race on Spruce Run!

               Registration Closes:      Friday, February 27th at 5pm                                                                                                    

               Packet Pick Up:               Friday, February 27th        5-9pm                     Seneca Board Room

                                                         Saturday, February 28th              8-9am          Seneca Board Room

                                                         

Every racer will have 1 attempt to QUALIFY FOR FINALS, where these racers will compete in final race lap to determine champions. Placement will be determined solely by FINAL RACE RUN TIME.

Men 40+

Women 16+

Grom Boys 8-15                 top half

Grom Girls 8-15                 top half

Bibs:  All participants will be issued a RACE BIB

Waivers: Competitors must sign waiver at packet pick up. 17 & under must have guardian present

Note on classes:

In the interest of efficiency and logistics, number of registrations will determine the actual RACE classes.  Events team reserves the right to condense classes as needed.  For any class that contains 5 or fewer registrations, competitors may be reassigned to another class.

 

REQUIREMENTS TO RACE

Snowboards only on course

Competitors must wear a helmet when on course

All competitors must sign a waiver prior to racing (waivers available at bib pick up).  Anyone 17 years old or younger must have a parent/guardian present to sign wavier.

RACE BIBS are required to race and to access competitor lift line on GRABHAMMER LIFT (provided at packet pickup) BIBS must be returned at race top (after qualifier round for racers who do not andvance) and at race finish (finals)

Race registration based on TRUE AGE - your age on February 28th, 2026

Lift ticket required to race.

Registration limited to 200 total competitors.
