Thank you for registering to use the Rendezvous Ski Trails Biathlon Range! The existence of this range is possible through a partnership between the West Yellowstone Ski Education Foundation, Destination Yellowstone, and the U.S. Forest Service. We try to maintain an accessible, safe, clean, and functional range and we expect all users to do their part by cooperating with other range users and following the guidelines below. These are also posted at the range.
Regardless of whether you purchase a Day or Season pass, the FIRST time you plan to use the range will require an in-person meeting with Marc Sheppard to review range safety and maintenance protocols. You must contact Marc to arrange this 406-646-9222 [email protected].
If you purchased a Season Pass, after your first time, please contact Marc Sheppard the day prior to each planned range use so he can coordinate with any other users.
Each time you purchase a Day Pass, after your first time, you will be contacted only if there are any conflicts with your requested training time.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THIS RANGE!
- DO NOT enter the Guard House without a face covering
- DO NOT store scopes or personal items in the Guard House
- DO NOT use the Guard House as a warming hut. It is for RANGE equipment storage only
- Use the staple guns and paper targets in the Quonset hut for zeroing. Zero boards remain in place on the bullet traps so you do not need to carry boards from the Quonset to the Target Line.
- Shooting Mats and Wind Flags are in the Guard House – Return them after use
- Shooting Mats should be rinsed with CLEANER and then WATER after each use. These are in clearly marked spray jugs in the Guard House
- Shooting Mats are to be hung on the drying rack after cleaning and rinsing.
- Target Reset Ropes should be wound up and placed on the targets after use
- Targets should be painted after use. Paint is in the steel cabinet in the Guard House.
- REMOVE EVERYTHING from the Shooting Ramp after your training session. Anything left in the way of the groomer is a PROBLEM!
