29th Annual Hannes Schneider Meister Cup
About
The Hannes Schneider Meister Cup Race is the New England Ski Museum’s main fundraising event, bringing together racers and spectators from across New England for a weekend of festivities every March.
The ski race, a dual action GS, draws 250 racers of all ages and numerous spectators to celebrate the rich tradition of skiing in New England. More than just a race, the event honors Hannes Schneider, who introduced skiing to North Conway, NH, and pays tribute to the 10th Mountain Division and America’s mountain troops.
The weekend includes a spectacular opening ceremony, torchlight parade, vintage ski fashion show, and social events. As a community celebration and a fundraiser for the New England Ski Museum, the Meister Cup supports the preservation and celebration of ski history.
