How do I get my pre-registered racers information?
Pre-registered racer information/start lists can be downloaded as a CSV (Comma Separated Value) file or if you use Microsoft Excel the start list can be opened directly into Excel from the SkiReg.com website. The information that is downloaded is up to you. You can choose which fields will appear, the order they are in, and how they are sorted. It is really quite flexible!
If you use an existing timing software or database, you can customize your download file to match the layout you need. The CSV file is a standard ASCII text file that is recognized by just about any software package. [

When would I receive a payment for the entries collected by SkiReg.com?
-Direct Deposit. Vs. Check
Events choosing checks as their payment method receive one pre-event and one post-event payment as outlined below in the Standard Disbursement Schedule.
Choosing Direct Deposit allows you to opt in to all payment schedules and request payments at any time. This is the preferred method of payment.
-Standard Disbursement Schedule (Checks)
Our standard check payment schedule is to issue one to two entry fee disbursements. If you receive registrations totaling $1,000.00 or more, the first check is sent the
Monday BEFORE your online registration closes. The final check is sent the Monday AFTER your event's online registration closes for remaining entry fees received. NOTE - Disbursements are calculated at
12:15 AM ET.
-Standard Disbursement Schedule (Direct Deposit)
Our standard direct deposit payment schedule is to issue three to four entry fee disbursements. The first disbursement is sent TWO Mondays BEFORE your online registration closes. The second disbursement is sent the
Monday BEFORE your online registration closes. The final payment is sent the Monday AFTER your event's online registration closes for remaining entry fees received. NOTE - Disbursements are calculated at
12:15 AM ET.
If you receive registrations totaling $500.00 or more after your second Monday disbursement, we will also process a deposit on the Thursday BEFORE the event.
-Monthly Disbursement Schedule (Direct Deposit Only)
Disbursements are sent on the last day of each month. This schedule works well for events which receive the bulk of their entries over a span of several months rather than during the few weeks leading up to the event. Good examples of events which would benefit from this schedule are club memberships and popular events where participants sign up many months in advance.
-Direct Deposit Biweekly Disbursement Schedule (Direct Deposit Only)
Disbursements are sent on the first and third Monday of each month.
-Weekly Disbursement Schedule (Direct Deposit Only)
Disbursements are sent on Monday each week.
Note: Weekly, Bi-weekly or monthly disbursements will only be issued if your event balance is greater than $100. If less than minimum, the balance will be rolled into your next disbursement.
You can set your events to any disbursement schedule within the "Event Payment" section as long as your event is set to receive direct deposit disbursements. If your event receives check disbursements, you can only use the standard disbursement schedule.
-Additional Disbursements (Direct Deposit Only)
Additional pre-event disbursements can be generated on demand in the Event Payment Center for payees utilizing direct deposit. Payments will be processed and sent the next business day.

How do I refund entry fees to participants?
an event director can refund a participant directly back to the participant's credit card as long as the balance due to the event is greater than the amount of the refund. I am tempted to go with SkiReg.com online registration, but I am unsure just how it would interface with our own registration system, numbering, etc.
The downloaded information is extremely flexible. You choose the information you want and how it is sorted. The downloaded file is in a CSV (Comma Separated Value) format, which can be imported by just about any timing or data collection system, or the start list can be opened right into Excel. You can also choose to have SkiReg.com generate bib numbers for each event. You can also manually enter mail-in entries so that you have a COMPLETE pre-reg list. [
