Crystal Community Ski Club Invitational Race

Crystal Community Ski Club is happy to host this annual event. Clubs may register any athletes who are signed up and training with their program during the 2025-26 ski season. Individual medals will be given to the top 10 racers in each category, broken down by age, sex and event.

Format:
Each Club will be limited to 10 athletes in each age/sex/event category.

Each Club will be asked to provide 4 volunteers (2 per race venue) throughout the day. Assignments will be given by CCSC. Please email your volunteer list to: [email protected]

Age Groups: U6 (5 & under), U8 (6 & 7), U10 (8 & 9), will race on Cheers to Lou.
U12 (10 & 11), U14 (12 & 13), U16 (14 & 15) will race on Buck.

Competitors’ age group is determined by their age on 12/31/25. Running order will be in order of age groups from youngest to oldest (U8, U10 etc...) A Slalom and a GS course will be set up in the morning on each race hill. Females will begin on the Slalom course; males will begin on the GS course. Second runs will start immediately after first runs conclude on the exact same course.
After an approximate 30-minute break, the courses will open back up for inspection. The females will switch to the GS course and males to the Slalom course
Registration fee: $25.00 per athlete includes registration, bib assignment, and awards. There are no refunds. Lift tickets or a season pass are required to compete.

CCSC will provide two coaches lift tickets for each team, as well as lift tickets for all volunteers.

Race Day Itinerary:
8:00am Packet pickup by the team representative in the Weldon room second floor of the lodge above the cafeteria. Please use the outside entrance.
8:30am Coaches meeting base of Cheers
8:45am Gate keepers meeting base of Cheers
9:00am Lifts open
9:15am Courses open for inspection
9:45am Courses closed, forerunners in gate
10:00am Racing starts
Second runs will begin immediately following first runs.
30-minute break between disciplines at the completion of second runs on that venue, courses will open for 15-minute course inspection before racing resumes.
Awards will be held outside on the patio of Kinlochen 30-minutes after the finish of the last racer.

We reserve the right to revise the race format due to weather conditions, snow conditions, number of registered participants, natural disasters, global pandemic, war, or any other acts of God.

We would like to thank all participants for joining us in our biggest fundraiser of the year.
